On May 9, 2024 Beacon coordinated the fourth annual Ventura Sand Summit. The Sand Summit is held annually to review the status of various dredging activities in the region. More than four dozen people attended the remote meeting, including representatives of the US Army Corps of Engineers, the US Navy, staff of our Congressional Representatives, and staff of the local harbors in Santa Barbara and Ventura.
