BEACON has released the final report prepared by Integral Consulting with support from BEACON analyzing opportunities for better coordinated governance of regional sediment management and sea level rise adaptation.
The report covers several key findings, including the regional sediment and adaptation planning, governance and permitting barriers, sediment variability, logistical barriers, funding challenges, governance and jurisdictional challenges, and needs for expanded outreach and education regarding sediment’s role in resilience.
